There are definitely some variables to account for in your data.

Measure a thread, count the # of turns it takes for it to get taken up on the spool.
Measure another thread and count turns.
Repeat and plot the data points above until you're able to fit a formula for thread length as a function of spool radius & turn count.
Use that formula.

I have had their classic dealer boot for 3 years, I wear them every day now and only just wore out the factory insole. Can't go wrong for under $50. I feel like the sizing runs a little big, and they're chonky, not as slim/streamlined as they seem in the photos. But definitely easy to get on and super durable.
