Seriously, go to Arches. I went and didn't even go directly up to this one (called Fragile Arch) because there's a long line and a bit of a hike to see it, but there's a ton more to scamper around and see. Its gorgeous.

My mom had (has?) a little book of kids cake designs, and I would just pick it up and look through it when I was little, dreaming of those cakes. This bear reminds me a lot of those!

I don't know that I've experienced a more dramatic "reveal" than rounding that final bend when heading into Sedona from the south and all of a sudden that valley appears before you. I've done it twice, both times around sunset, and it took my breath both times.
