Another thing you can do before it freezes is to move the car a couple of feet back and forth while braking hard. The force should knock a good chunk of it off before you get on the road. Also use a push broom from the back and push forward. My car is annoying because I'm rather short, and there are these goddamned roof-rails on my car that prevent me from pushing off the sides.

That's mostly at manager discretion though, so it depends on the ownership of the store. There are a lot of different owners under the Shop-Rite brand

I've done this, it's not terrible, but it depends on where you are coming from. Once you are at the airport, follow signs to the cell phone lot, wait there until they have gotten their baggage, then just follow the signs for arrivals, and call them when you stop and tell them which door you are in front of.
The traffic going back however, no amount of planning can make that easier.

Not necessarily. About 10 years ago, I was all set to rent an apartment in Jersey City, they asked for my guarantor information, and refused because my guarantor lived in New York.
