I've played both and I prefer pickleball! It's a wiffle ball style ball vs the rubber ball I played paddle tennis with. I feel like I have more control with the ball in pickleball and intense rallys feel more active with the wiffle ball too!

Not sure where in RI you are but the Walmart in North Attleboro has a vision center and I saw it was open yesterday when I was Christmas shopping. It's practically right over the line from Pawtucket.

I 2nd Free play! I work downtown and will go there after work occasionally to grab a drink and mash some buttons and I've met some very nice guys and gals there
