In small towns only a handful of people die per year. If the town has paper records handy then checking an entire year is not too difficult. Call the town office and see if they can help.

It was the District of Maine, sometimes called just “the District.” After the separation Massachusetts still owned a great deal of Maine land.

Check Bud Leavitt’s 12 Months in Maine. It’s a grab bag of a book and all of it interesting, but a big chunk of it is traditional Maine recipes.

Hulu with live sports has NBC Sports Boston which has 99% of games. Over $70. Sling has espn which has some Celtics games sometimes. $40 or so.
