Not around here. Near perfect conditions for three weeks in a row. And another good week ahead. I’m in northern Washington county. I have 20 taps and haven’t been too aggressive and I’ve gotten 9 quarts so far.

There used to be a regular column in the Bangor Daily News that gave a star map and some info about interesting space events for the week or month. I believe it was from a local astronomer, not some syndicated thing.
So...subscribe to newspapers.com, look up those columns, and determine which ones apply to the current date and time.
Easy!

There’s a KFC, a fantastic and huge Walmart, a good Deere dealership, and don’t forget the fireworks store. And a good Mardens. PI is great! RIP to the Burger King.

Smiths General Store in Springfield sells pelts and animal faces next to their magazine/box wine rack. And it has a tiny deli and a picture of obscure Red Sox players. I think they have Andre Dawson and Tim Naehring pictures on the wall, and others. They sell some hardware and steel toed red gum rubber boots. It’s not dedicated to oddities but it is an oddity itself. I love it.

Hammond lumber sells taps and tubes like that, or at least they have in years past. It’s cheaper online from somewhere like Leader Evaporator.

Depends where you live. It’s not truly over until you see buds on the twigs.

The title is truncated and leaves out important information. Following a rule doesn’t make it good - truncated titles are bad.

They do have rises and dips, watch out for pressure ridges and shell ice, they can be hard to see white-on-white.

YOU control what shows up in the title. Don’t post bad titles.

Houlton is the best because it has two Chinese restaurants (Tang's is better), an ok BBQ restaurant, a real shoe store, multiple junk shops, and it's closer to Bangor.

I’m recreating this sign lettering as a font. It’s way better than what the DOT uses now.

There’s a bias towards the first reasonable-looking answer on Reddit. Asking your librarian is reasonable. You will get a definitive answer from them. Thanks for sharing the list. That’s good info.

It varies. Ask the librarian of the issuing library to know for sure.

Get some tapes at Record Town and the paper at Mr. Paperback. Then a sandwich at the Cracker Barrel. Head over to the sears catalog store to pick up a craftsman lawnmower you ordered and then to Boot Camp Computers to get some blank disks to copy shareware from your buddy who got it at the mill. There’s always something to do in calais!
