I'm sure it'll be fine, it's using a public IP which I understand is much safer than a private IP.

Also, I just updated Windows 7 again last night. It's still receiving some updates. For most people, the bigger issue is third party support falling off fast now.

The cool thing about this in the retrocomputing space is how phenomenally mindblowing it would have been to see that coming across your 1200 baud modem in the 1980s. Hell, just chatting with a real person that way was pretty incredible.
Imagine a chatGPT BBS that would be the equivalent of playing an old INFOCOM text adventure but everything taking place in the real world! With the BBS sharing knowledge, solving problems, and downloading files from around the world before the Internet was a thing.

Now the entire signs are coated in reflective material, specifically designed to only reflect back at the source of the light.

At home? In his living room? Land lines exist. Corded phones even.

Reply to LPT: don't listen to this advise I just read on twitter: If you’re married, there should be no such thing as “my” money or “your” money. It’s OUR money. If you are going to have a healthy and successful marriage, you have to be one in every area of your life… including your money. @DaveRamsey by Pippa_Lee
You should have signs pretty early in the relationship if your partner is irresponsible with money so you can plan accordingly. Also consider a prenuptial agreement; it just keeps things simpler.

Not just sometimes. Turn off ALL your notifications and then just turn them on for those individuals and apps you want to be able to actually interrupt you versus reading their messages in your own time.

In my experience, Darn Tough do not fall under the "super soft" category you were going for. They're legitimately durable tho.
