Welcome to Providence. May I suggest you look at the West End / Federal Hill area. I have lived in every section of PVD over the last 30 years and I truly love living in the West End the most. Beyond the gorgeous architecture it is a true neighborhood. You will have real neighbors that look out for each other. Plus everything is within walking distance including the hospital complex. Add to this that there is great food throughout and a smattering of awesome bars and it’s hard to beat. Best of luck to you.

Check out the Landing on Dyer St. art gallery gift shop ice cream shop and a really nice airy space. Part of the Providence River Boat Company too. I held a catered cocktail party there last July and we also took a sunset booze cruise. Good luck.

May I suggest La Piñata on Westminster Providence..not fine dining but if you like authentic family style Mexican food...this your place. Reasonably priced delicious food. The house margarita is ideal. On Wednesday’s and Saturday’s they have a Mariachi band. The staff is wonderful and they don’t mind special orders. Good luck!

Dave’s marketplace has a catering division. With pick up at store closest to you. Use it for work events. Order on line. Very easy.
