I bet it runs like crap and doesn't have shit for power. I mean its sticker says double insulated even though thats been the industry standard for years. And black and decker is an awful brand of tools.

We have a Bosch drill that says made in West Germany written on it. Still works fine, it drills into brick and concrete faster then the modern battery ones I have used from Black and Decker. You just have ot make sure you don't burn out the motor because it starts to smoke if you are on it for too long.

i have my grand dads and its exactly the same model. i don't love it compares to newer stuff but it just works. also has this old electric motor smell hehe.

And weight/ergonomics. Modern drills are so much more comfortable to work with over long periods.

Dad still has his. I have his second generation one bought in the 90s with the variable speed control. Which was a big deal back then. This is rad to see and I hadn’t thought about that drill in forever.
