I've liked trattoria e pizzeria da Enrico and Coalfire as a NY style fan. Not as impressed with Tino's.

I'm surprised you don't like Trattoria! My girlfriend grew up around Italian-owned pizza shops and said it's the closest she's had to that quality. It's the best I've had around here too, with HomeSlyce second.

The best NY style pizza in Columbia is the Waterloo pizza at the Exxon on LPP.

Lots of other good stuff too

As a regular type pizza place nothing too fancy and some good specials, I haven't had a problem with Pizzaman in Oakland Mills area.

Coal Fire is good. Had a great rep too. Still good but, in our opinion, not as good as it was ~10 years ago. Brick oven cooked so there’s that.

Coal Fire is decent.

What happened with Home Slyce? Oddly enough, I got a taste for their pizza.

Big fan of homemade pizza. Just buy a flat bread, sauce, Italian seasoning, toppings mozzarella and put it on a pizza stone

Legit good so easy and cheap

Sorrento's in Arbutus is one of my local favorites, a bit of a drive but worth it. Pazani in Elkridge (Marshalee Drive, just off Rt 100 & 103)

“Buy a flatbread” is definitely not the answer. That’s flatbread, not pizza dough. Shit, even the Pillsbury “pizza crust” soda-dough is better than an already baked flatbread. Miles better. But if you’re cooking it at home why not just grab a ball of pizza dough. It’s sold at like every grocery store around here. Regardless, your answer is wrong as OP is asking for restaurant options. Clearly they aren’t looking to cook one at home.
