I'm not wrong. Lying to your kids is detrimental to their social development.

I was. Religious parents are terrible. Thankfully I grew up with the internet and was able to figure out that religion and magic is bullshit and that science is the best tool we have fairly early on.

Science and religion aren’t contrary to each other, they go hand in hand.

Negative captain.
Science is based on evidence. Religion is based on faith.

No that's literally the definition of religion lol.

Only as much as it is the definition of science. You believe in science because you believe the evidence presented to you. Some people interpret that same evidence as proof of religion. They are one and the same.

False. The evidence presented by science can be repeated and independently verified by a third party.

Same with religion.

So you are saying God is science?
Usedtoknowsomeone46 t1_ixd0jfu wrote
Absolutely if you can show me empirical and peer reviewed evidence.

Okay. Literally anything applies -laws of gravity, Big Bang, laws of motion and most importantly, the laws of conservation of matter.
