My daughter wants to have a party and that's not usually her thing. Any ideas or recommendations for a fun teen party? She's not a makeup or spa kinda kid. More video games and music.

Thanks! I have a request to their party planner and haven't heard back. I also reached out to a couple of hotels with event planners. We are running into too old for the kids' stuff and not grown enough for the rest.
That's a rough spot to be in, stuck in the middle almost. Hopefully you hear back from the party planner in a few days, good luck with everything!
makeup and spa kid at 16 lol? (or are things that bad these days) thats more like 20s
Some of her friends have been having those parties since 10. It's a thing.
My kids still like the indoor blacklight mini golf and the trampolining places.
Escape room?
Ice skating
Mmmm I think I once heard of something like a mobile Arcade in a trailer that will come to a party and let kids play for free. Like that?
Indoor “Rock Climbing”? There is one in Glastonbury. Used to be one in Manchester, not sure if it’s still open.
I think there is a video game bus you can have come to your home. Idk the name though, sorry
I like the idea of a video game trailer, order pizzas, throw on a spotify Playlist and let them do their thing.
If I can chain smoke joints the whole time I'll dj for free for 2 hours. I'll bring my own pre rolls.
Nomads would be my suggestion for games and fun, but you might save some $ on renting a game trailer and hosting at home, depending on number of kids. It might keep them all more together vs doing their own thing too.
Can confirm, my daughter had a spa day for her 11th birthday. Her 12th she did Nomads.
Dave & Buster’s
Just had my work's holiday party here and it was a blast. If it's within budget it'll be a lot of fun
Nomads or Sonny's place.
Indoor mini golf & pizza truck
We rented a local hall for my daughter’s 16th and the kids played “minute to win it” games w/prizes and decorated cookies (ordered kits from a local baker). It was a lot of fun and cost effective. We’ve had parties at Dave & Busters and Spare Time in Bristol - both do a good job.
Raising a daughter in this modern world is scary.
Sounds like you have a great kid. I was just at foxwoods, they have escape rooms. You could have a party at the sugar factory in conjunction with that. I think the ct science ctr may do birthdays. You could also just do something at your own place curated to what she likes
Spare Time in Windsor Locks? They revamped it a few years back and it's fun. Arcade games and bowling.

Have you considered Dave and Busters? I'm not sure how many locations they have across the state, but it's something to think about.
