I think that, if everything is automated + AI to do creative work of all kinds, is there any real need for human labor? Couldnt an elite extinguish everyone except them, and be able to keep the whole system? This is related to the very common argument that "The rich need to sell for the working class in order to be rich". Thing is, if human labor is not necessary, money itself dissapears and there is just those who control the machines and all that is produced. The whole working class can just starve.
