That makes sense, will let the creators know. They should probably find a better way. I am generally on adblocks and it hadn’t bothered me so much.

Ads are annoying regardless. This website had 1 ad I think, but it stood out nonetheless. If you don’t mind me asking, is there a reason you don’t use adblocks?
