What does this thing do?
hatuhsawl t1_j676apy wrote
It’s the ability to make a YouTube playlist to watch or share while not having a YouTube account

Oh, interesting! Thanks for the explanation!

Not on your phone you can't. And let the man enjoy his 500 hour Rick roll. Ain't no harm in that

Grooveshark was the bomb
Kissaki0 t1_j67kksp wrote
Yes, really. Context menu, then 'Loop'.
grim4224 t1_j67po28 wrote
Yes on your phone you can, you just need a youtube client app
dpersi t1_j67xp0m wrote
you can on firefox, "use desktop mode" works on google websites unlike chrome

How would you make someone else's video loop?
KGBspy t1_j681klo wrote
Yeah it was but like everything hood that screws over someone from $$$ it had to be shut down.

The title should have been
Make YouTube playlists without an account
sigmund14 t1_j68znq1 wrote
It's just "loop play this one video", similar to the "repeat one song" function in the MP3 players in the previous decade (repeat all, repeat one, randomize).
Right click in the video -> select "loop"
sigmund14 t1_j69011g wrote
If you have a Youtube account, you can create a public / unlisted ("public", but hidden from the search; the people with direct link can access it) playlist and you can share the link to it. So, the main feature is described in other comments - creating and sharing a playlist without the Youtube account.
mrgonzalez t1_j691e3q wrote
Right, so how would you link the video to someone else with that enabled? That's the point of sharing the link.
schriepes t1_j693i6g wrote
It doesn't work for me on firefox.
GimpyGeek t1_j699njx wrote
Yeah no kidding I forgot about Grooveshark, shame that's gone
Ekublai t1_j69a2xc wrote
You need a YouTube client in order to experience the rickroll? Doesn’t that defeat the purpose?
StickiStickman t1_j69cvo0 wrote
Yes you can lol.
"Loop this video" is a on-off toggle.
Abder_Rahim t1_j69w79t wrote
Why that link take me to a channel called "watch vidéos"
The_Celtic_Chemist t1_j6aa8ct wrote
Would be nice if it worked on mobile rather than being forced to drag and drop the links.

That is great, thank you for sharing
grim4224 t1_j6c3lmf wrote
No, you need a client to loop videos forever. A rickroll can work in the browser.

Weird, I was just thinking about Grooveshark earlier today. Maybe not exactly the same as this, but similar.
