I don't get this one. My grandmother was younger than my mom by 1 year, my grandfather on my dads side married a younger woman after his divorce with my real grandmother. Are you trying to say only poor teens have underage sex or something?

Not sex, pregnancy.
His grandmother would’ve been 27 when he was born. That’s two generations of children at 13/14

You missed the point, with sex comes pregnancy and underage teens are always smart and use protection and that goes for any teen no matter the income of their family. Your joke just doesn't work.

it's an awful "joke," but teens being smart is not a good generalization

Objectively speaking they aren't, their brains have not fully developed yet, that doesn't happen till you're around 25 and ignoring that fact, their hormones are out of wack and can cause their emotions to make bad choices. Plus they don't have years of knowledge and wisdom of those older than them and that too can lead to more bad choices than what a 20 or 30yo might typically make.

This is accurate but also, not a joke
