That isn't how this works. Either you set up the automatic payment using a debit card, a credit card or via ach. Not all billers allow all options.

Also fraud on a debit card doesn't mean redoing all of your payments. In fact visa and mastercard have programs where they share the replacement card number with your recurring billers.

Fraud on a checking account is WAY harder to deal with than a debit card. Only use your bank account for ach when absolutely necessary, and with very reputable companies.
