I currently have a cold. My nose is running and watery as hell!!!!!! I had to rub my nose with a napkin so many times to get the snot off that my nose JUST HURTS TO TOUCH. My nose is still watery and runny and I can't even rub it with a napkin because it hurts. Snot is just rolling down my face. Also, after the constant rubbing, my nose's skin has become crusty. Please help, I cant even look down like this.

Baby wipes /wet wipes are great if your nose is super sore.

Step one: get a saline spray (just salt water) and spray it down your nose until you feel it running down your throat; do this after each meal.

Next, get some lip balm and put it on the raw parts of your nose.

Third, take a tissue and twist it into a snake. Jam each end in a nostril. Replace as needed.

No drip nasal sprays (steroidal) work wonders but follow the directions on how to spray them.

They dry the nose very well but can cause nosebleeds if you spray it directly on the septum.

Every winter I have a Nose Chapstick. Usually one that has been half used and it becomes dedicated to my nose only. Definitely put it on thick before you go to bed but use it whenever. It’s no shiny so nobody notices. It feels so soothing. And your nose heals and stays healed. Throw it away when you’re not runny anymore.

As far as I know, runny nose disappear when you get healed. I want to tell you that it gets better when you get better.Um...it's hard for me to tell that I think because I'm learning English. If my words is rude, that is not what I meant. I'm sorry.

After you blow your nose, (with tissues that have lotion) use AQUAPHOR ointment on it. Slather it on. In 24 hours, it will feel so much better.

when in the shower, make it super hot and just blow and blow and blow. rinse your nose, gargle the hot water. Vaseline or Vaporub are your best friend for raw nose skin. hydrate with tons of water so you can keep snotting everything out to get it over with. also whatever you do, AVOID SNIFFLING OR SNORTING DOWN SNOT. it is easier sometimes to sniffle and sniffle and not blow, but then the mucus runs down your throat into your lungs and you'll be coughing it up later for an extra week bc your body didn't get it out with a sneeze

I would put a warm compress ( wet wash cloth) over your face and gargle with warm salt water. For post nasal drip I roll tp into plugs and lay on my side for a little while. Also vapo rub or neosporin on chapped skin.

Dude Puffs with Lotion. People like to cheap out on tissues/kleenex fuck that, I got puffs with lotion and kleenex with vicks around the house. Although if your nose is allready raw and sensitive I wouldnt recommend the ones with vicks,Lol!

Is it more while eating or shortly after eating?
If yes, avoid spicy foods that causes this.

Drink Tea with Honey

Get facial steam

Get a humidifier.

Alternative to the nose chapstick idea is that I use the Neosporin with pain reliever around my nose to help heal it.

And using real tissues instead of napkins or toilet paper makes an incredible difference, doesn't hurt nearly as much!

Tampons work also, granted you might look a little goofy. I’ve had to do this before and you’ll get some laughs out of it.

Bonus if you have a bloody nose lol.
