Go get it checked out by a spine specialist! If it persists, GO BACK! My back pain wound up being a SEVERELY HERNIATED DISC, which was impinging on my spinal cord! That pain became so bad... It was indescribable. After I got home, my insurance company called and wanted to know if I was capable of walking... at all!

I am so sorry. We are in a similar situation. Definitely contact his VA doc, and explain what is going on. Now, that help will be ONLY for your Dad. Call their county Agency on Aging. They can point you in the direction of additional help, and check what is going on in the home. Make sure you tell them that your parents have NO FAMILY SUPPORT IN STATE. The Agency on aging will suggest things like meals on wheels, and social workers to go out and check on them.

Also contact their personal family doctor and let them know what is going on. They can also send a social worker out, and check what assistance they might need.

( Been here, done this)

We have had somewhat better luck with FROGTAPE brand painters tape. But there is an art to applying it. -TAKE YOUR TIME. Don't rush. -after the tape is applied, run a ruler over it to seal the edge. -Paint all the coats you intend, THEN TAKE THE TAPE OFF! DO NOT WAIT! Slowly pull the tape at a 30-90 degree angle. The longer you wait, the more the danger of peeling the paint with the tape.

I have a daughter whose OCD for folding clothes and linens comes in handy! LOVE IT when she straightens the linen closet! It's like looking at a wall display in BED BATH AND BEYOND! I open the closet doors, and just stand there in wonder! Then she rolls all of the towels in the bathroom like we are in some luxury spa! My daughter ROCKS!

Mine is genetic as well, both sisters and my Mother have it. Triggered by severe arthritis pain. I take Mirapex, and haven't had any side effects at all! It works beautifully! What side effects did you notice? Because I have seen nothing but blessedly beautiful sleep. I tried pickles and juice. All that did was drive my sodium levels through the roof! LOL! Still couldn't sleep though.

I love horror/thrillers. But that one is just disturbing on so many levels. I was not expecting it. It wasn't bad, I just would have liked a warning. And it wasn't the gore. I have seen far worse gore on Walking Dead.

Replace the NO SOLICITING sign with a big honking NO TRESPASSING sign, taped to the inside of the glass of your storm door. If anyone violates the no trespass, CALL THE POLICE. Tell them that a sales person or whoever violated a posted no trespass. They won't do it again! (If you think I am kidding, I'm not. Our neighborhood is bombarded with sales people. But the only ones I have had to actually call the cops on are the Verizon doofuses. They are RELENTLESS)

Also, never buy the coupon book for inexpensive oil changes from the door to door sales guy, for the garage you don't use. Did it once. Tried to redeem. Hilarious. No walk ins. Only good on on certain days of the week. Must be scheduled ten business days in advance. You getting the picture? They put so many restrictions on it, the coupons were worthless.

If you can go to Walmart and shop, you can vote. I have serious lung disease and am immunocompromised. I also have bone grinding arthritis in my knees. If I can do it, so can 99 percent of people who claim they can't. The measuring stick should be... do you shop for yourself? In person? If so, haul yourself to the polling place. If not, then here's your ballot.
