Substitute “a spoonful of sugar” for “a mouthful of liquid honey” and I feel you could write a whole song about this.

You guys don't have the non-flowing 'creamed' honey?

Have they changed the flavor of cough syrup? Because all the ones I've had were delicious.

Pro tips- studies show a small amount of pineapple juice and/or spoon full of honey are more effective to soothe your cough than cough syrup! You don’t have to worry about taking too much either.

Source? Cough syrups can be different. Codeine literally produces morphine in your body after you take it. If honey worked same way as morphine or other opiates you would be getting it from the dealer not from the grocery store.

I used to use honey for this, but I found that I got better results with beer

Lmao my mom used to give me eucalyptus oil with honey. The honey/ syrup barely helped.

Gonna be honest, for the scratchy throat dry cough, honey works better anyway.
