I had a roommate in college who pulled these same stunts. It got to the point where I just used paper plates and Styrofoam bowls. We had dirty dishes with rotting food that sat piled in the sink for days on end.

Reply to LPT Request: For people who work at a desk or sit in chairs for most of the day, what are some things we can do to prevent our bodies (and mind) from deteriorating over time from sitting in a chair and staring at a computer. by threespeaks
When I worked in an office building I would park far from the building so I had to walk more. I would use the stairs instead of the elevator. I would also go outside and take a walk during my lunch break, sometimes eating while I walked.

To be honest, I've been pumping my own gas for many years and I couldn't tell you the last time I got gas on my hands. I do, however, like your idea of keeping gloves in the car in case something breaks and needs to be worked on.

Practice on friends and family. Use visualization techniques to see yourself successfully talking with strangers. Start small and work up to bigger and bigger conversations. Relax and have fun with it. Before long people won't be able to shut you up.

Never get emotionally attached to a car you're looking at; always be prepared to walk away if the seller won't negotiate a deal. Have your mechanic inspect the car especially if you're buying from a private seller. Always look at cars in the daylight and never in the dark.

Yes, you want to get ACV that is organic and contains "the mother" which it should state clearly on the label. Start with 1 Tbsp per day and dilute it with about 8 oz of water, Powerade, or fruit juice. Do not drink it straight as it may burn your throat. It has a very strong taste and odor, but you should get used to it. After drinking it, be sure to rinse your mouth several times as it will remove the enamel from your teeth. ACV has a bunch of health benefits like lowering your blood sugar level, removing calcium buildup in your soft tissues, and suppressing your appetite. Some people find that it stimulates digestion and they end going to the bathroom more often. You can increase your consumption to 2 Tbsp per day, but really shouldn't do more than that. Do a search on YouTube for ACV as there is a ton of info there.

Reply to LPT: clean your stovetop after using the oven. The heat loosens grime for easy removal by Cando232
Better yet, clean your stove top right after doing the dishes. The warm, soapy water works very well and cleaning the stove top daily will make clean up a breeze.

Eating fast food too often is a sure fire way to ruin your health. Try eating more fruit and veg at home. You can eat all you want. You can make large, filling salads that will make you feel great. Also, you could try apple cider vinegar -- it will suppress your appetite.

Reply to LPT: USA - Do you want bigger paychecks, adjust your withholding (IRS Form W4). Especially if you rely on refunds to pay credit cards/people back. by Aegis2x1
I couldn't agree more. Some people act like getting a big tax refund each year is like winning the lottery. It isn't. It's their money and when they get it back it's worth less than when it was taken out of their paycheck, and the gov't pays no interest on that refund. The ideal situation would be to owe a small amount each year when you file.

Each spring and fall do a visual inspection of your home both inside and out. Flush your water heater once or twice a year, and replace the sacrificial anode once every three or four years. Check your water softener weekly, and clean out the salt bin once a year. Have your furnace tuned up once a year. Use Drano Max Gel in all your drains once a year. Use root kill in your lateral sewer line once or twice a year, and one gallon of lye once per year. A good rule of thumb is to expect to spend 1% of the value of your home on maintenance and repairs every year, e.g. if your home is worth $200,000 then expect to spend about $2000 on repairs.

Things always work out in the end. If they aren't worked out yet, you're not at the end yet.

Sugar is also a toxin. It does quite a bit of damage to the human body. I found a high fat, low carb diet was the best way to get less sugar in my body.

Use real butter on your popcorn. You cannot get fat from eating dietary fat.

Cut back on carbs like pasta, bread, breakfast cereal, desserts, etc. -- anything with lots of sugar and/or processed flour. Eat more of the good fat like animal fat, olive oil, coconut oil, butter, gee, cocoa butter, Macadamia nuts, walnuts, pecans.

Sugar and some non-sugar sweeteners are the primary cause of weight gain. Bear in mind that foods made from processed flour are converted into glucose (a form of sugar) when digested. When your blood sugar level gets too high, your body releases insulin which forces your fat cells to open up and take in all that sugar. Your face looks puffy or chubby because your body is full of inflammation caused by lots of carbs.

You can do the same thing with large value packs of chicken, pork chops, or steak.
