I’ll add that q-tips with rubbing alcohol are good for nooks and crannies on ear buds.

The top edges of my airpod case, where they rest when seated in the case, often disgust me. I should definitely clean them more often.

I get it, they fall off, they're easy to lose. I knew one guy in college who said when he needed a replacement he would just walk around campus staring at the floor or in corners until he found one that someone else had lost, and then just use that.

Hydrogen peroxide is great at dissolving earwax off of any metal grills that aren't removable. Dip the grill in (but no more) for a few minutes, wipe with paper towel, and let dry.

Now if someone knows how to make my faux-suede over-ear headphone pads less stinky, I'm all ears.
