Entertaining the idea of buying a camp/land, not too sure where to start looking.

Do people buy land together in Maine and share it?
This would be a time share, and you would find some in Maine but less than most other states.

You mean like friends or family buying a plot together? Happens all the time.
New Hampshire
And pay NH property taxes (which are outrageous) on a property only used a few weeks a year? Lol NOPE

A time share is a bit different than friends/relatives buying property together.
https://www.landwatch.com/ is the best I've found, especially to search by region and acres.
Often, camps/cabins that may not be fully permitted aren't mentioned directly, but occasionally show up on photos and sometimes some reference might be made .
I could NOT get the time of day from realtors advertising on zillow/ redfin. Wound up getting a FSBO from Craigslist of all places. Used an attorney that advertised he'd do anything for $500, LOL.
About three months later I got a text from douchey realtor who finally got around to another property I had been interested in.
Mainelistings.com is the Maine MLS for residential but fair amount of camps & land are listed. You can search by county as well as town and even Township/Range properties will show.

https://www.lifestylepropertiesofmaine.com I’ve been looking for the same thing. Like all real estate right now the prices are high and inventory is low.
