I can’t listen to anything with lyrics or I’ll get to distracted so I try to listen to classical, jazz or funk. Medeski Martin and Wood is a go to for example. I’m looking for some specific album recommendations if anyone has any. Thanks.

I'll listen to anything when I'm working. Lately it's been a bunch of foreign screamo bands that I've been finding so it's been quite fun.

I generally don't listen to anything, but sometimes if I have a long task or project I'll throw on Echoes: The best of Pink Floyd. It's got a great flow and you can just enjoy the music while you work. And it's pretty long, too, since it's a double album.

I'm a sound engineer in an indie club, so what music I'm listening to while working depends entirely which band is on stage at that moment.

LJ plays the Beatles is a nice acoustic guitar arrangement of Beatles tunes. He has a few different collections (Laurence Juber). Good background music.

I don't listen to music at work, but if it's a job which you might take a while to do, the genre I listen to is R&B.

Unfortunately the radio until I put on something. But then I don't wanna be DJ all day and also know my co workers don't want to listen to punk Ska and metal all day so back to the radio.

Yesterday it was Death Cab For Cutie’s acoustic version of Asphalt Meadows. Today, I am checking out Nina Simone - Blues on Purpose
