I find it odd that Cake's song Hem of Your Garment isn't in that tracklist. I know it can be a thing where a song is in a movie but not on the official soundtrack. Besides the fact that I always associate that song with this movie when I hear it, it's such a good ass song.

Carrey ramming that car into the barbershop (while sporting a milk mustache) while that song plays is one of the (many) highlights of the film.

I've always felt the same way about Junior Brown's Highway Patrol. (In case anyone's wondering who the hell that is/what song it is, it's literally the first thing you hear when the movie opens)

This reason is why I find it strange that people care about movie soundtracks at all. It's a separate piece of art, associated with a movie but not necessarily containing art made for the movie or featured in the movie. For me, that basically relegates soundtracks to a tiny niche interest... which i guess is where we're at, hahah, sorry lol
