Do you understand your headline title question and then the text specifying a 100-year timescale are two completely different questions?

Your first paragraph makes you look like such a shitty person. You left academia "before it became a cesspool." So right off the bat, you abandoned education in a country where education remains under attack, as it has been for as long as we can remember.
Who would care about anything else you have to say?

Or a fourth option -- It's all wrong, and the people who care don't have power, and the people who have power don't care.

This reason is why I find it strange that people care about movie soundtracks at all. It's a separate piece of art, associated with a movie but not necessarily containing art made for the movie or featured in the movie. For me, that basically relegates soundtracks to a tiny niche interest... which i guess is where we're at, hahah, sorry lol

People take questions as attacks these days. Not just online, but in person as well.
It's part of America's attack on intelligence. It's socially unacceptable to question information someone just told you. They think it's okay to be upset, when instead it's critically important for us to share correct information.
