Listening to “across the border” by ELO and I love the feeling of those horns towards the end of the song. Are there any pop/rock groups that regularly utilizes similar sounding horns in their songs?

Already aware of Ring of Fire!

Cake uses a lot of trumpet but I can’t specifically remember any songs played in this mariachi style. They are worth checking out anyway if you’ve never heard them.

I'm still learning the titles, yet The Ezra Collective just put out an album, there's a good mariachi vibe on a lot of tracks. Lots of double horns and light but thick percussion.

Listen to tu falta de querer by Mon laferte. Her specialty is mixing pop rock and mexican rhythms

Ciega sordomuda by Shakira too.
