Hello, I'm looking to purchase some good quality earbuds that are bellow £50. I want them to be wired and preferably have some noise cancellation/reduction feature, but both those things seem to be mutually exclusive when I search for them in shops.

Do you have any suggestions?

Sony MDR ZX 110NA might be what you are looking for.

Does it have to be wired? I had the belief, for a very long time, cheap Bluetooth headphones didn't get yet to decent sound level, and my JBL Tune500BT proved me wrong (about 35 GBP on Amazon). They are not NC but suprised me in terms of sound quality .

Hey thanks for the suggestion, although do you happen to have a recommendations for earphones/earbuds? I'm a bit paranoid about wearing expensive headphones around the city.

The reason I'm not too keen on wireless is because batteries tend to lose charge overtime and especially in cold weather (England is very chilly). Perhaps I'm making it a bigger deal than it actually is, but it's a worry I'd rather not have :)

There shouldn't be a problem with a little bit of rain.

I've had the same pair of JBL buds for like 4 years now. I've tried newer models and the new galaxy ones, and always go back to the older JBLs. I just bought another pair of over ears for my switch that are super comfy and sound reducing for like 30 on sale from amazon, too. I think JBL makes the best of what I have tried, and they are usually decently priced.

The models I mentioned (JBL & Sony) are not buds.

I have AKG k52 and k72.

They are fantastic for the price. Incredibly sturdy and comfortable to wear.

Since go over your ears, noisy environments are not a problem.

edit: NVM, you want earbuds. I would just buy cheap Sony ones with those smartphone controls they cost around 20€ and spending much more on earbuds does not give you great returns in audio quality anyways.

NFI what £50 looks like in Aussie dollars, but my personal preference is Sennheiser.
