Hey Guys. I have a friend who is thinking about moving to Newark. Just wondering what everyone thinks are good areas and areas to avoid.

As a south Jersey resident I think Newark isn’t as much as a trash Ghetto as Camden lol. I’ve been and it has it’s good parts.
The fact that you would refer to any city that way in earnest is wild….
Just calling it like drixxx
Why are you even on a newark page?
how kind of you to think that!!! newark doesn't need the mentality of calling places "trash ghetto"
Dead ass like

If you from Philly you shouldn’t be worried
I’m not worried or asking for me. I’m asking for a friend from a different state who doesn’t have Reddit. They’re from Oklahoma
Tell him to just make a Reddit
They don't have Reddit in Oklahoma yet okay.
May I recommend the search bar as well
North ward
Why Newark if you don’t mind me asking
They've got some new apt buildings (expensive, but beautiful), some homes have great apartments in the Ironbound section. Nwk has restaurants, entertainment center and & culture (a rich history). It's 10 min from Jersey City, 30 to NYC & an hour to the shore.

Posts like these just come across as ignorant // in bad taste considering the history of Newark and the history of everyone assuming we're a trash ghetto city.
