Let's be real about this. They only ended this policy because they need more workers and less discrimination of applicants means more potential workers.

Exactly. This is America. To pretend you're not looked at only as a robot with a number put here on Earth to make the owner more money...who we trying to fool ? That's all any of us are of value for, how much labor can we produce. Same reason we have such a resentment of the poor here. Can't extract capital out of them so they aren't worth the air they breathe to these ghouls and fuck faces.
