I have a scheduled date every 2 weeks to check rates. When I check I input - No cancelation fee- 4,000 Kwh monthly usage -Lowest to Highest Monthly Estimate. And deliberately look for longest term vs rate. Got shafted though this past month, My 18 month contract expired- .051¢pkw/h, and jumped to 0.102¢pkw/h as lowest I could find. Found some today though at 8¢ and 9¢ 🤷

best i found is 11.31 pkwh over 6 months, anything at 12 months is more. that seems pretty good to me

if it's the lowest in your range and you inputted 1.5 of your last months kwh used, then I'd take it is there's no cancelation fee , then you can keep hopping if you want
