I think you should probably specify: Are you in Jonestown in Columbia Co, Jonestown in Lebanon Co, or a third Jonestown I am unaware of?
These answers might be a little varied given there are multiple Jonestowns.

That’s my local Jonestown too, but I wanted to be sure!

First question, why Jonestown? Not much going on up "this neck of the woods" but great hiking trails in Swatara State Park.
As others have noted, there are lots of things to do in Lancaster and Lititz is a cool small town.
Agree that Ray Azteca is pretty good and the people are very friendly. The best Italian place I've found in the area is Lazzaro's in Palmyra. Reservations a must.

My wife and I have wanted to move back east for awhile now and couldn’t decide where. Found out my grandma needed some help so this is where we landed for now.
It’s definitely been an adjustment living in such a small town but it’s close to so many places we visit and want to visit (DC, NY, NY, etc).
We’d love to find a more LGBTQ friendly area to visit though lol.

Well although Lancaster County is quite a religious county (lots of Amish and Mennonite folk), Lancaster City is quite artsy and definitely supports the LGBTQ community. If you're not familiar with Lebanon County, it's a bit "rural" shall we say, but most people are very friendly. It's one of the fastest growing counties which can be good and bad.
