The roads in PA are better than surrounding states, especially in winter.

Don’t get me started on how bad ohios roads are
ashleyorelse t1_irp7qwl wrote
Oh yeah.
I was on one a couple years ago that was literally more potholes than road. As in, you could not possibly drive without hitting many of them.
Even the ok roads on Ohio often have deep cracks ready to become potholes the next winter.
In PA, I never see the roads like that.

Hawk rock?
If you take the trail up above that rock and head towards the face of the mountain, there is an amazing view of the Susquehanna/Juniata River confluence.

It's been at least 20, probably more like 25 years since I saw it, but the moment I saw the photo (and saw that it was in the PA subreddit) I was like "that's Hawk Rock isn't it".

Its part of the Appalachian trail. But you can also access that trail via hawk rock trail in duncannon.

I’m so confused by this title. PA has really good roads than what I’m used to.

Did someone forget one has to still drive to these places with horrible roads. You can't just walk there 😆😆😆
