How did they come up with this answer. Halloween parades were a pretty big deal to my kids and their friends.

They came up with that answer because if one person is offended, or their child gets their feelings hurt they have to deal with it. It is easier to not deal with it than to deal with it. So no parade. And bonus, they don't lose instructional time either.
