I work nights and for the past couple of days, when I wake up in the afternoon the trees are so beautiful and the light so golden I just have to go out on the porch and take it in. The maples are particularly beautiful right now.

Nice! I think that's an Autumn Flame or Autumn Blaze Maple. There's a lot here in western PA and they're so beautiful. They change color early and fast but the display is so gorgeous while it's here.
