Reply to Could a 4-Day, 32-Hour Work Week Come to Pennsylvania? These 3 Democrats Are Working On It by Open_Veins_8
I had a schedule for awhile that was four on and three off and it was nice in some ways, unfortunately it was still 40 hours and two of the shifts were 12s. But having three days off is nice.

We did a musical version of A Midsummer Night's Dream in community theater a few years ago and the local "values based" news outlet wouldn't promote it because it was unwholesome.

La Tolteca is a chain in the general area, I'm not sure if there's one near you. You can't go wrong with some of the little family owned places in Chester County if you get out that way.

Any time I've ever driven by that little shrine outside of town, the candle is always burning and I wonder who tends to that.

My husband took me through just after that when most of the houses were still standing but the people had left and the houses had the buyout prices spray painted on them.

There is a cemetery on the left side of the 61 bypass but it's just an ordinary cemetery. The only odd thing about it sometimes is that there might be snow on the ground elsewhere but not in part of the cemetery because the ground is too warm. But yeah, five houses and a post office and then nothing and then Mt. Carmel.

I don't know if I'm the best candidate for that... We moved up here from Chester County in 2005. I'm originally from SE PA with a long detour in South Jersey. I can tell you what I like better up here... And what I find frustrating, I guess.

Some commute to Williamsport or New York, a lot of people I know work at the hospital and local care homes. I work for the county itself at 911 and if that is your bent we are hiring.

Nope. We don't have Catholic schools.

What is the most critical thing to focus on if you find yourself in your early 50s, still working full time, but with not quite enough saved for retirement? I know I likely won't 'catch up' but I'd like to maximize my savings as much as possible.

I can't find anything that suggests what it might be. Last time I got one of those it was a flash flood warning and boy howdy, it happened right then. Lesson learned :if you are in Watkins Glen NY and it is absolutely pissing down rain, go ahead and leave.
