Cigarettes cause cancer.
Just look at the list of things the state of CA know causes cancer.

All of the ways we use to forget problems cause more problems. Typically because ignoring problems doesn't solve them.

This list includes everything. The chair you sit on, the utensils you eat with, all forms of matter, everything. If a list does exist, I laugh at the enormity of it. That's how every it gets.

I feel like loss of control and impaired decision making are two other major problems, and far more impactful on the present. I'd prefer to stay in a clear state of mind at all times
