You pretty much walk outside walk up to a person you and start the introduction the old school way and go from there. Worked for years.

People are generally equal parts terrified of 1) being approached by someone they don't know and 2) approaching someone they don't know. That's the world we're in now.

Then those people should live in a bubble life is very short. I can tell you from experience. Watching Netflix to ending up in a coma. You have to face those fears sometimes

I don't disagree with you but I think this is kind of useless advice? In my experience in Stamford if you approach someone they'll be very guarded and tell you to leave them alone. That's not something you fix by being more outgoing.
