Just in the summer. Upper peninsula mosquitoes can give Florida mosquitoes run for their money, but if you're staying in the lower peninsula, you should be safe from the kind that carry away children.

Lower peninsula didn't have much in the way of hard freezes this winter. Should be an exciting tally of humans carried away by giant mosquitoes by the end of the season!
