Depends on what part. Probably not though. Shelton is pretty country like most towns in Mason County. There are definitely some low income areas especially around the "in town" area. Never had my car broken into or anything though unlike belfair

The first time I witnessed some guy smoking meth out of a broken lightbulb in public was in Belfair. That was in 1993. I can’t imagine how bad it’s gotten today.

Come to renton. Check the underpasses. They're there. I pass through three and each night I smell weed at each one. it starts with tough love poeple. Stop giving them cash as they'll just turn it into drugs. Break the damn cycle.
