Looking to fly into Seattle, then would be in for 2 weeks. Hitting up Olympic for sure, but possibly Rainer too. Just trying to get a ballpark because I don't trust online websites and assume there would be lots of hidden fees. I've also heard of the Turo app but I'm not too familiar with it.

Any recommendations for companies to go with, or stay away from?

Prices online are accurate unless you need insurance or a GPS or similar extras. You can get an exact price on the companies’ sites directly rather than through a travel aggregator. Really all the major ones are fine. The cheaper ones like Rent-a-wreck usually are not in the main rental car center. You may need to wait longer for a shuttle. Cheaper options like Fox are in the rental car center but you may wait in line longer or have worse service. Reality is rental cars are a commodity though.

They show all the charges online (state and local taxes, fees,,etc) at any of the major car rental companies.
It typically more expensive to rent out of the airport location - even if booking online. Take Light Rail to a neighborhood with car rental company within walking distance. Ravenna station has two (Budget, Enterprise). I don’t know if there are any to avoid… I would probably stick to one of the major companies - just since they have good networks if you have issues with your rental.

Last fall I rented a car the size of a Toyota Rav4 from Enterprise for 6 days and it was about $650-$700 iirc.

If you work for a Fortune 500 company you may be able to get the corporate rate. Did this my last rental and saved %25.
