Yep
I dont know how it is in WA but you might have been able to take a driver's course to reduce the fine, keep it off your record, and your insurance premiums down.
I leave for the military in like 2 days so I had to get it resolved super quick. Just looking to make sure it's all handled.
Actually in WA there is a deferral program, as long as you don't have any recent tickets and you avoid getting another ticket with in a year, you can pay a deferral fee and avoid getting it on your driving record. The exact rules and fees vary by county.
True except that you get only one every seven years.
Ouch. Pay it off—NOW—and get the fuck out of there ASAP. You’re damned lucky to not get hauled in for reckless driving.
Ask for a payment plan. If you have good credit they are usually good about offering you one.
$250 isn't that much money if you are wise about your finances. You can fight it off in court but few people that take it upon them selves often end up loosing. You should find a lawyer specializing in speeding tickets.
Good lord 30 mph over the speed limit. Just suck up and pay it. Reckless drivers are the ones causing all the accidents. On longer car drives use cruise control to assist in keeping speed limit of the car. If you're doing 25 mph or more you can use it. This has saved my rear over the years from getting tickets. Unless you have smart sensor technology I would not advise using it in rush hour due to all the stop and go.
Yeah I paid it right online right after got it. It was a good lesson just unfortunate timing.

I think you are currently the quickest legally paid ticket. Only thing faster would be if you paid the cop off at the point he ticketed you.
Bravo!
