As someone who is naturally introverted New England is awesome. No fake kindness/small talk with people you don't know. Being in the mid-west is ok but I could never live there.

Different strokes, I guess.

I guess it is different strokes. Everyone in the Midwest was genuine with me. People out here are nice to your face then talk about you behind your back. Very clicky too.
