I've had 5 at one time, so I def don't think 4 is an addiction. But of course, that's what an addict would say...

To be fairrrr I had three and the fourth just showed up one day in a sad state. Can’t say no to a scraggly homeless cat can I? I’m not a monster!

I fully agree! I let one homeless cat in and was unaware at the time that she was secretly housing 4 nuggets. They finally came out to meet us a few weeks later.

Ooh a Trojan cat, we thought my fourth might be such a cat but it turned out he was a boy! Just full of worms haha.
