I second the automatic cat feeders. I have four cats that would gladly wake me up at all hours of the night begging for food. We have three feeders and they all stare those things down before the scheduled time they open up, much better than jumping on me at 3am. The fourth cat refuses to eat without me by her side, haven’t figured out that one yet.

Ooh a Trojan cat, we thought my fourth might be such a cat but it turned out he was a boy! Just full of worms haha.

To be fairrrr I had three and the fourth just showed up one day in a sad state. Can’t say no to a scraggly homeless cat can I? I’m not a monster!

Need an iceberg and piece of decorative panelling to go with it as the icing on the cake so to speak.

He looks like a very happy boy, and she looks very gentle. One of my cats would put up with almost any attention from my son because of how much she loves him, even if maybe she shouldn’t haha.

These are ornamental kale plants, and kale is a brassica as is cabbage (we bred their ancestor to have different traits). There are white and purple varieties and they come in that solid leaf version and lacy leaf as well.

I showed this to my cat and asked if it was his sister, he gave me a blink which must mean “Silly human, more treats and less questions”

I like the juxtaposition of the happy ghosts on the bow tie and the unimpressed look on his face. Oh and I spot a HP book in the back, excellent.

Reply to TIL about Companion Planting, which helps gardens grow by planting strategically based on root compatibility and soil optimization by diatriose
You learned about something that is mostly made up with little science based evidence. There is some nuggets of truth in there but it’s pretty logic based stuff, tall things shade shorter things, rotate crops etc but always look for why and how a certain plant does better with another and some evidence to that effect before believing too much about this. https://www.gardenmyths.com/companion-planting-truth-myth/
