There has not been an officer stationed at that spot 24/7 for years.

I have seen one there almost every day for 4 years. I did not drive during lockdown, but it's definitely been there longer than a few months. I dgaf about this, not sure why I'm responding, so think whatever you want. But its presence is not recent.
