I'm looking for ideas for a Baltimore-themed gift for my wife's 50th birthday. Doesn't necessarily need to be something that is obviously "Baltimore" on its face - could be something that has a meaningful connection to the city or something made by a Baltimore-based company/maker. Been racking my brain for days trying to come up with something special and 50th-birthday-worthy, but I'm stuck. Any suggestions?

Though the Sun is certainly falling out of favor, a couple years ago I purchased an "every front page from your birthday throughout the years" for an aunt. Its a neat timecapsule.
A friend moved to Arizona and we gave her a "box set" of Baltimore-filmed videos like Hairspray, Sleepless in Seattle, 12 Monkeys, etc. (this was many years ago!).

I think there are a couple of local ceramics/clayworks art studios around. I've only ever seen them at flea market type things, but there are probably ways to go to the studio to shop or to find a local shot that carries them.
