Burnt out!

Recently I almost got burned out from constant working, but unlike last time, I managed to get back on track and rest properly. That experience inspired me to redo the older drawing from last year(Posted on my instagram profile) which was done when I was really struggling with motivation and felt as if the spark is slowly going out. Please take care of yourselves champs, because in the end, we are only human beings :)

Also, this piece was heavily inspired by art of Zdzislaw Beksinski, Kirian and Pete's Angelarium!

Done traditionally with graphite on paper. For more art and process behind it, you can find me on https://www.instagram.com/ogipavkovicart/

Is it weird that I think it would be comfortable to have a hole like that to rest your arms in?

Seems a nice mix from the Nanami, nature monster from an anime called Jujutsu Kaisen and demons from Fire Force

my copy of the book is at home but a simple Google search will show you the image this artist stole. It's even more similar than I expected.

Probably should credit inspiration where its due when it's that obvious.

Striking similarities, uncanny even

Edit: I do want to add that drawing inspiration from pieces isn’t a bad thing, but giving credit where due is a kind gesture for your fellow artists

So this probably isn't what you had expected, but this gave me huge inspiration to make a map for a TTRPG game based on a desert region with many cave/temple/dungeons along a steep rocky region rising out of the desert bordering one side. Split up into smaller maps the group wouldn't have much idea of the larger terrain until they explore more and more and eventually they figure out that a massive titan had fallen here and the areas they've been exploring are actually made within the now turned rock remains of the titan. Essentially your image here is the satellite image with desert on the right leading up to it.

Idk, seems like a neat nugget of an idea for me to explore

Thank you both guys! It was rude that i forgot to mention Petes work as well, since he really is huge inspiration to me and influenced a lot of my work, plus carrier path that im taking because of listening to his podcasts. On the other hand, just as Lifespanner have said, thats what inspiration is. Not a straight copy, but taking a bit of something and mixing it with your own stuff. Its regular thing among creative people and can be seen even in Old masters work from hundred of years ago!

Ahhhh Constantine, love that movie so hard! But to be precise, I think those demons were inspired by Beksinski and his dystopian horror artwork! Please check it out if you havent seen it already, and you will see lots of similarities :)

Forgive me for my cynicism, but this reply really does seem like a load of baloney. It’s really apparent that you left out your ‘inspiration’ even through your instagram post. Again, it’s fine to be inspired, but it really seems Pete was maliciously left out, whilst other less blatantly similar stylings of other artists were credited in your shoutout.

Yes, thank you for sharing it! Absolutely forgot to mention him as well along side Kirill and Beksinski... Really love Pete and his work, plus he had a lot of influence on my art and themes! Indeed, that piece was one of main inspirations for this idea of burning out.
It feels heavy to say direct copy and paste, but if you feel that way from this piece, that might be true :/ Anyhow, thanks for sharing and reminding me once again, will do my best to mention my inspirations properly next time, take care!

It is indeed! Totally forgot to mention Petes work alongside Beksinskis and Kirills as well... Angelarium and Petes work in general has lots of influence on me, and this piece was indeed heavily inspired by one of his paintings, maybe even just as NotaTumah have said, direct copy of it :)
