Yep.
In the East Asian chess game of Go/Weiqi/Baduk, AI caused many moves considered for centuries to be "bad" and "only played by beginners" to become top meta moves.

I’m not usually one for documentaries, but I really enjoyed the “AlphaGo” one which talked about the evolution of this. The go professionals were all kind of taken aback as they realized too late how they were getting outplayed.

I'd call that more of a corporate promotional piece than a documentary, but, yes, it was pretty interesting.
