Sugoi! I see you have some nigori to go along with dinner. Kudos on your tamago, (egg) I’ve never been able to roll/flatten it well enough. Finally, your photo is fantastic, too!

Thank you very much. Honestly I didn't make tamagoyaki although I've saved a good recipe, I didn't have the pan to make it. I was so happy to see it in my local Japanese store. They made them very tasty and not too sweet like the one I have had at some sushi places.

Aha! I’m half Japanese and I was born in Tokyo but it doesn’t mean a thing when it comes to making those eggs. Anyway, it doesn’t matter your presentation still makes me hungry!

Ugh, I know rolling those eggs isn't easy. It sounds more difficult after reading your followed up comment :). But I still want to buy a pan and try to make it at home after I move in with my boyfriend.

Good luck! I bought the little rectangular pan and it’s still difficult. I myself and moving into a new apartment too so I’m going to try again. If I succeed I will post here!
